Why do you want to study this course?

When my town's only factory closed in 2023, I wanted to understand why a decision taken far away could change so many lives at once. Reading Thomas Piketty's Capital in the Twenty-First Century gave me a first answer, and many new questions.

How have your studies prepared you?

In SES and HGGSP, I learnt to read data critically. For my Grand Oral, I compared minimum wage policies in France and the United Kingdom.

What else have you done outside of education?

I have been debating for three years and led our team at the Paris Model United Nations, where I represented Germany on the Economic and Social Council.Capucine
